ADK is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization. Membership fees, excluding $10 for membership benefits, are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Education Programs

Are you an outdoor enthusiast or natural history buff? Over 200 workshops are offered at our Lake Placid, NY program center. Our educators teach a variety of courses from beginner canoeing and kayaking to winter mountaineering and everything in between.
