The bear went over the mountain to see what he could see, hear what he could hear, smell what he could smell, touch what he could touch, and taste what he could taste;what a busy bear! The bear sets out in spring and finds fun around every corner. When the bear finds something unpleasant, such as a smelly skunk, he learns that his five senses have both good and bad traits. And as winter arrives, the bear returns home to his cave, tired after his adventures.
Iza Trapani uses this classic children’s song to teach children about the five senses and the four seasons. It’s so much fun that kids will want to go exploring, just like the bear!
