This week only, your gift will be doubled.

We still welcome your gift in support of ADK’s education programs, but the match has been met!

Although your donation won’t be doubled, it will be appreciated, and we’ll happily send you a Leave No Trace Principles tag.

When people learn to enjoy nature responsibly, wilderness thrives. Education is the most effective and sustainable way to protect wild places. You can help conserve New York’s remaining wild lands and waters with a donation to ADK’s education initiatives.

ADK has joined forces with the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics and the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation to focus on the Adirondack Eastern High Peaks Wilderness, designated a 2019 Leave No Trace Hot Spot. High use threatens the popular High Peaks area but, with a motivated community and proper education, damage can be reversed. Leave No Trace Hot Spot Week (August 7-14) is an opportunity to address the challenges and consider solutions.

During this week only, your gift will be matched dollar for dollar up to $5,000, thanks to two generous donors. With your help, we will meet the challenge and raise $10,000 for education!

Plus, we’ll send you a weatherproof hang tag (pictured above) for your backpack that explains the seven Leave No Trace principles.
